Brief:
Positive Activities For Young People (PAYP) via Connexions North London is a national programme providing
out of school and holiday provision for 8-19 year olds who are at risk of offending or of social exclusion.
There are many parties involved in the PAYP referral process and whilst comprehensive in structure, has
proved very difficult to explain to both staff and to external parties.
The PAYP Project needed a simple, visual and compelling method of communicating the scope and benefits
of the project and its processes - culminating in both a training aid AND a piece of external literature.
Cognac Solution:
Utilising the strong branding of Connexions and focussing on a youth based audience, we created a
big picture that struck a balance between an internal and an external communications tool.
Results:
With the big picture to hand, the PAYP team have saved hours in training time and have been able to
simultaneously communicate their message to their partners and stakeholders.
