 Hosted by journalist and broadcaster Jon Snow and in the presence of RSA's President, His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh. The RSA Awards Night on 9 May 2006. held at The Banqueting House, Whitehall Palace was indeed a special evening.

For the first time in 252 years, the Society brought together all its prestigious awards into one glittering evening. The Awards celebrate best practice in the fields pioneered by the RSA and encompassed in our five strategic objectives: the Manifesto Challenges. They honour exceptional ideas and actions which create real and lasting change in society, as part of the RSA’s tradition of encouraging and rewarding innovative solutions to contemporary issues.
