Brief:
Parallel Thinking Europe have designed a powerful online communications tool and intranet system for use
at a proposed film studio in Spain. The project is huge, and they need to communicate the 500 man years
of IT development to a non technical, Spanish panel of prospects to get their buy-in.
Cognac Solution:
The “StarGate” Big Picture was our very first. Founder & CEO, Tom Ball, was a leading designer of the
Stargate project and charged with finding a way to communicate this mammoth development to the
aforementioned audience. Many methods were attempted, mostly online, but none captured the hearts
and minds of the prospects. Almost from sheer frustration, Tom decided to draw his vision for the Stargate
System onto a large sheet of paper - it worked, they “got it”.
Results:
One year on, and the Stargate project has now been given the go-ahead, due to that first meeting and the
big picture. This has led to millions of euros of funding. Something that could not have been achieved
without the big picture and the process behind it.
